We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team in the engineering industry. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and machinery, including mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and industrial equipment. You will work closely with our manufacturing team to ensure that our production processes run efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance on all equipment and machinery, including mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and industrial equipment.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment and machinery issues, and make necessary repairs.
- Perform preventative maintenance to ensure equipment and machinery are in good working order.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed on equipment and machinery.
- Work closely with the manufacturing team to ensure that production processes run smoothly.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
- Participate in union negotiations and meetings.
- Assist with the installation of new equipment and machinery.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Details

- 3+ years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and industrial equipment skills.
- Experience working with steel and other metals.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends if necessary.
- High school diploma or equivalent. Technical training or certification preferred.
