• Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor
• Grade/Level: High School
• Work Schedule: 8-4 Monday - Friday / on-call rotation after hours and weekends
• Location: Travel is required to various properties within Bentonville/Bella Vista. Mileage reimbursement is provided.

POSITION SUMMARY

Job Description

Diagnose problems, repair and maintenance on wall repair, electrical, mechanical, plumbing and climate-control systems. Then determine the best way to fix a problem. Install and assemble equipment, perform periodic inspections, and complete work orders of all work completed. They meet with Maintenance supervisor every morning and throughout the day to determine priority and what needs to be accomplished.

Education:

• High School or GED. Eighteen months of education and training beyond high school level in general maintenance and repair, or a closely related area.
• Two years’ experience in general maintenance or other maintenance responsibilities that would include the ability to recognize electrical, plumbing, and mechanical malfunctions or equipment failures.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Ability to meet and deal tactfully and courteously with fellow employees and vendors/contractors.
• Ability to complete wall repair, install trim, paint
• Complete Inspection for moved out and complete necessary repairs as needed
• Ability to perform various clean up and maintenance tasks as needed.
• Thorough knowledge of the occupation hazards and corresponding safety precautions necessary for the safe performance of assigned duties
• Work independently as well as with maintenance staff

Computer Skills:

• Be able to research parts and order parts.
• Possess basic computer literacy skills to utilize work order app. Smartphone use is required.

Physical Demands :

• Standing, bending, lifting, and utilizing tools are all regular parts of this job. More information on the frequency of these activities is available upon request.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.50 per hour
