Perricone Farms is hiring a Second Shift Maintenance Technician in Beaumont, CA.

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the overall proper functioning of production machinery and facility equipment. The technician will engage in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs as needed. • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance as per documented instructions to maintain optimum performance and reliability
• Maintain a high sense of safety at all times
• Respond to service calls and requests in a timely fashion
• Perform repair work and building maintenance, such as changing light bulbs for the facility, greasing and oiling equipment, and replacing pumps and valves on all utility systems
• Comply with all Good manufacturing Practices, safety procedures, company and quality policies, and hazard analysis and critical control points
• Maintain electrical lines, circuits, systems, and associated fixtures, controls, and equipment
• Modify and repair piping systems and equipment, such as vacuum and plant compressed air systems
• Maintain and repair utility systems, such as HVAC and boiler plant equipment

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of prior maintenance experience in a food manufacturing and production environment
• Understanding of how machines and mechanical systems work with repair/troubleshooting ability
• Understanding of electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, and components
• Knowledge of plumbing systems, including pipes, fittings, and fixtures with repair/troubleshooting ability
• Knowledge of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems with repair/troubleshooting ability
• Basic carpentry skills, such as measuring, cutting, and joining wood and other materials
