JOB DESCRIPTION
Location: Vernon, LA.
Job Title: Mechanic
Department: Maintenance
Schedule: 2pm - 1am
Pay: $26 to start /+DOE
*Bilingual, entering work orders into system, working with the mechanics to provide tools they need and opening new work orders in the system, following up with vendor and purchasing.

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
Complete planned and unplanned electrical and mechanical maintenance requirements on production, packaging, and processing equipment.

Complete planned and unplanned electrical and mechanical maintenance requirements on utility systems (heat, steam, cooling, electrical, power, gas, or air).

Troubleshoot problems with electro/pneumatic controls, photoelectric sensing systems, and programmable controllers.

Troubleshoot problems with high voltage distribution systems.

Use schematics, mechanical/electrical blueprints, parts diagrams, and instruction manuals as needed to troubleshoot, determine part requirements, and perform corrective procedures.

Perform daily inspections and routine adjustments on production, packaging, and processing equipment.

Investigate mechanical and electrical problems, analyze cause, repair, and make suggestions to keep problems from reoccurring.

Support setup, changeover, and teardown teams by mechanically and electrically assembling and disassembling production, packaging, and processing equipment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.05 - $26.55 per hour

Experience:

• Driver's License (Preferred)
