Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 DOE

Maintenance Engineer (Manufacturing Industry, Open to Entry-Level) Description

Our client in the manufacturing industry is looking for a Maintenance Engineer to add to their growing team located south of Bowling Green, KY. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of manufacturing equipment, identifying and resolving maintenance issues, and working closely with production teams to minimize downtime. Candidates must have a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Our client is open to entry-level candidates as well as more experienced engineers. Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus. This is a very hands-on and physical role, and getting your hands dirty and working with hand tools is required. Maintenance Engineer (Manufacturing Industry, Open to Entry-Level) Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment
• Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with equipment, provide alternative solutions to problems
• Support safeguard improvements
• Provide troubleshooting assistance to production and maintenance team members
• Develop new equipment and tooling specifications
• Support 6S policies and procedures
• Collect and compare data from production documents daily or as needed
• Measure operating equipment efficiency
• Follow preventative maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability
• Recommend and implement process improvements
• Respond to emergency failures as needed
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Develop new and/or improve maintenance systems

Maintenance Engineer (Manufacturing Industry, Open to Entry-Level) Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering required
• Strong technical skills in mechanical/electrical maintenance required
