Maintenance Engineer

The ideal candidate must demonstrate:

• Consistent work history in a manufacturing environment, food manufacturing experience highly preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of industrial electrical theory and systems to conduct electrical installations and required preventive maintenance.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and program PLC’s.
• Must be mechanically inclined and proficient in several areas of repair and maintenance (pneumatics, hydraulics, motors, conveying, etc.).
• Demonstrated ability to use hand tools, possess a high mechanical aptitude and problem-solving mentality.
• High school diploma or GED certificate required, completion of a trade school or training program is a plus.

Key job duties include:

• Ability to troubleshoot and program PLC’s, preferably Allen Bradly.
• Ability to troubleshoot high level electrical problems on industrial production equipment.
• Assist in managing various facilities and equipment related projects and installations.
• Ability to analyze mechanical and/or operational problems and take corrective actions.
• Assists maintenance team in routine equipment maintenance (Preventive Maintenance) on a variety of food production equipment when needed.
• Works within the maintenance and operations department to schedule appropriate repairs and installations to key production lines and equipment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per hour
