As a Production Machine Operator, you will complete various tasks in a manufacturing environment to help produce various beverages.
Position Related Activities and Key Job Duties
- Conduct a variety of position specific tasks as a part of the production process.
- Loading materials into production machines, removing packs and sorting raw materials and/or finished products.
- Collect and dispose of garbage and production waste; keep production equipment and work area free of trash and debris.
- Set-up, operate and troubleshoot equipment, including mechanical, programmable controls etc. and complete necessary filler, conveyor and palletizer adjustments for changeovers.
- Identify and report production issues to appropriate parties using plant intercoms and or 2-Way radio system.
- Monitor computer terminals and OIT screens.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Safety Equipment
- Safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses, ear protection, hairnets, beard nets, protective aprons & face shields where applicable.
Education and Additional Requirements
- High School or General Education Diploma
- Mobility to all areas of a multi-level production facility.
- Basic Math Skills (+, - , x, ÷).
- Read, write, and ability to understand instructions.
- Demonstrates good attendance record.
- Ability to move materials weighing a minimum of 50 pounds for distances of ten feet or better.
