JOB TITLE: Machine Operator (Machine Adjuster)

Information about the Company: Cenveo is a leading North American manufacturer of envelopes. Hiring immediately for 2nd & 3rd shift Machine Operators (Adjusters) in our Dallas, TX manufacturing plant.

Machine Operator Pay/Schedule:·

• $18-24/hr or higher depending on experience + shift premiums.
• 2nd shift premium $1.25/hr : 230pm - 1030p
• 3rd shift premium $1.50/hr : 1030pm - 6:30am
• Training is on 1st shift - 630am - 230pm
• Schedule: Mon - Fri / Sat required during busy season/business needs

Machine Operator Responsibilities & Daily Duties:

• Sets up and adjusts converting equipment for safe and efficient operation.
• Start-up, adjustments; maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Change window rolls (overhead); Examines product for quality adherence.
• Assists in adjuster/operator training; Provides coverage if needed
• Performs preventative maintenance to ensure consistent quality production.
• Overtime as needed; Compliance with safety rules and regulations.
• Maintains clean machine and work area (sweeps, removes waste, etc).
• Other duties and assignments as required.

Machine Operator Requirements/Qualifications:

• The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma or equivalent.
• Candidates with direct envelope: 2-4 years experience is preferred.
• Candidates with no direct envelope: 2 years relevant mechanical experience.
• Advanced mechanical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
• Basic math skills and the ability to accurately read a ruler; basic computer skills.
• Flexibility required with machine assignment.

Machine Operator Physical Requirements & Work Environment:-

• Regular standing, walking, carrying, climbing, reaching, bending, stooping.
• Frequently required to lift and/or move up to 55 pounds with assistance.
• Exposure to production equipment, noise, hazardous materials (inks, glue, etc.).
• Must be able to work in hot or cold weather; Mental alertness to stop equipment.
• Ability to handle high-speed delivery output in a standing position for a full shift.
