The Levy Group of Companies is seeking a Lube Technician to work at our Charleston Mill Services location in Huger, SC. The Lube Technician performs lubrication of all mobile equipment.
We are a unique, 100-year-old family-owned company that transforms our recycled products into construction materials, lightweight aggregates, asphalt, cement, concrete, agricultural products, and more. We provide steel mill services, flame cutting and treatment, road building, logistics, laboratory testing, and a variety of other solutions for our customers.
Shift: Monday - Friday, Day Shift, Weekend Availability
Pay: $18-$23/HR

Responsibilities
The Lube Technician will:
- Lubricate and service mobile equipment
- Performs pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections along with routine greasing, oiling and fueling
- Maintains cleanliness of vehicle
- Inspect vehicles for the purpose of identifying safety defects
- Provide general housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe facility
- Keep records and reports
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
Skills
The ideal candidate will have:
- Basic knowledge of mobile equipment and lubrication points
- Basic math skills and computer skills
- Mechanical aptitude
- Ability to manipulate hand and power tools
- Ability to use and understand manuals
- Ability to read and write
- Knowledge of appropriate safety procedures
