Position Highlights:

• The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Provides care to employees in accordance with established Occupational Health guidelines, nursing care standards, and Moffitt Policy & Procedures.
• Coordinates, provides, and documents direct employee/ patient care in accordance with established standards & regulatory guidelines.

TYPE OF EXPERIENCE:
Required:

• Minimum of 1-2 years experience in a outpatient Clinical setting of Family Practice/Internal
• Medicine/Urgent Care and/or similar setting within a hospital or other healthcare environment.

Preferred:

• Minimum of 1 years direct patient care.
• Minimum of 1 year ambulatory services such as a clinic.
• Bi-lingual (English/Spanish)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Provide direct patient care
• Coordinate patient care with other multidisciplinary services
• Facilitate patient flow
• Triage
• Collect patient data
• Facilitate schedule appointments
• Utilizes appropriate and effective communication skills
• Maintain a cooperative and collaborative relationship among health care team.

Credentials and Qualifications:

• High school Diploma/GED
• Associates Degree
• Graduate from LPN program
• FL LPN License
• BLS Certification
• Minimum of 1 year direct patient care.
• Experience with computer software programs
