AIS Construction Equipment is the oldest Michigan owned and operated heavy equipment company in the state and has been serving customers for 60 years. We are looking for a full-time lowboy driver to join our team. This position is Monday - Friday, first shift, and will be stationed out of our New Hudson branch. Responsibilities:
- Safely drive and haul heavy equipment to job sites as needed
- Load and unload the lowboy
- Make all deliveries within appropriate time parameters and keep management team updated on schedule if change occurs
- Complete all necessary paperwork
- Handle basic maintenance of the lowboy including keeping it clean, and making sure required inspections are performed, etc.
- Maintain a professional appearance and attitude
Requirements:
- 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or GED
- Valid state-issued driver's license with clean driving record
- Class A CDL with air brakes (automatic-only CDL is acceptable)
- Punctual, reliable, and a strong sense of urgency
- Able to work independently and within a team
- Able to lift and carry up to 75 pounds regularly
- Able to pass a background screening and drug test
- Preferred: Experience in related field and knowledge of heavy construction equipment

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
