Job description
ProCare Therapy is currently seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract position in Forest Hill, MD. The ideal candidate will be available to start on Thursday, April 27th, 2023 or no later than 5/1/23. The last day of school is June 16th, 2023. Additional work through the summer (End of June/all of July: M-TH approx. 16 hours/week). The position will extend into the fall semester starting on 8/21/23 and endings on 11/10/23.
Position Details:
- Age of students: K-5
- Caseload: 27 students
- Case Manage: 7 students
- Special programs: General Education students with language needs and Regional Applied Behavior Analysis Program (utilizing VB) for elementary autism program
- Hours: Weekly: 37.5 hours (Monday Friday), workday: 8:00-4:00 with lunch unpaid (7.5-hour days)
- Virtual Platforms:
- Microsoft TEAMS virtual IEP meetings,
- MA Billing Daily log notes entry system for all student services, MS Outlook for HCPS email/calendar
- IEP Maryland Online IEP (MDOIEP).
- Duties:
- Provide student SLP sessions as outlined in their IEP or 504, Provide student SLP sessions as identified through SST/RTI
- Support all assigned student IEP meetings
- Support testing/assessments within the school for Speech
- Complete daily documentation logs for sessions provided.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Oregon state license or eligibility for licensure
- Prior experience working with school-aged children with communication disorders
- Knowledge of evidence-based speech and language therapy practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
