Master’s degree preferred
Possess necessary Massachusetts teaching certification(s)
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Adapt/deliver department curriculum provided. Knowledge of MA frameworks.
- Create a differentiated environment that supports the learning styles and emotional needs of all students.
- Assess and evaluate students’ educational progress and abilities using formative and summative measures.
- Collaborate with a Professional Learning Community (PLC) to develop common assessments, analyze student work and implement effective teaching strategies.
- Communicate with parents, administration and students regarding academic content, expectations and student progress.
- Attend to all teacher duties and professional development.
- Uphold, support and promote the Core Values of Hull Public Schools in all areas of teaching and learning as a member of the English department for Hull High School.
