Job Title: LVN/LPN - Long-Term Care (LTC)

Location: Lompoc, CA 93436

Shift: Mid 5x8-Hour (15:00 - 23:30)

Start Date: ASAP

Job Duration: 13-week contract

Description: We are seeking experienced LVN/LPNs for a 13-week contract in a long-term care setting. The shift is mid-day (15:00 - 23:30) with a 4 days on, 2 days off schedule. We are open to shorter or longer contracts and can offer same-day interviews for interested candidates who meet the qualifications.

Qualifications:

• Active LPN/LVN license in California
• At least one to two years' experience in a long-term care setting
• American Heart Association CPR Card
• Must be COVID-19 vaccinated and have a current booster per CA state rule

Requirements:

• Provide nursing care to residents in accordance with physician orders and plan of care
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Complete accurate and timely documentation using electronic medical record system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team to provide holistic patient care
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members
• Adhere to infection control and safety policies and procedures
• Work with a nurse to patient ratio of about 24-26:1 on average
• Attend a full day of orientation on the first day
• Wear any color scrubs
• Obtain COVID-19 vaccine (with no exemptions) and current booster as per facility guidelines
