The Long Island & Pompano Beach HR Leader provides HR support for professional and production workforce across 2 sites. Clients include managers and individual contributors In Supply Chain, Engineering, Commercial and Program Management. The HR Leader supports on organizational and employee matters, as well as coaching, HR process expertise and other general HR activities.Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- A first point of contact for employees & managers who provides leadership, coaching and support for individual employee needs & HR processes.
- Requires specialized depth and breadth within Supply Chain HR Management and strong awareness of Program Management, Engineering and Commercial.
- Lead functional teams or projects with minimal resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity. Communicates difficult concepts and influence others' options on particular topics and help guide others to consider a different point of view.
- Influence local team’s ability to achieve service, quality and timeliness of objectives.
- Facilitate decision making about important subjects and display high levels of evaluative judgment are required to achieve outcomes required.
- Uses high level of judgment to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems that impact the function.
- Ability to assess quality of information given and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders. Able to offer new solutions to problems outside of set parameters and is able to construct and provide recommendations. Use multiple internal and some external sources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of applicable experience
