Mechanical Engineer

Seeking a hardworking and forward-thinking, Local Mechanical Engineer to join our team. Working together for a sustainable future we assist clients in various industries, including water, wastewater, food and beverage, transportation, private utilities, municipal, industrial, and chemical.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience programming of PLC control and PC based SCADA systems
• Degree in Engineering or related technology is preferred
• Proficiency with multiple manufacturers automation hardware and software, including but not limited to:
• Allen Bradley, Schneider, Wonderware GE
• Working knowledge of VPN's and cyber security
• Experience with Hard-wired, Wireless, Radio Networks, and Cellular Networking
• General knowledge of water/wastewater systems
• Available for some limited travel

Responsibilities:

• Program and integrate complex control systems
• Take a leadership role in projects from concept through operational readiness
• Work effectively with multi-disciplinary teams to develop solutions for clients
• Conduct hands-on troubleshooting of field control systems
• Provide technical support in resolving equipment and process issues when necessary
• Serve as a mentor to less experienced Programmers, and share knowledge for the benefit of others
• Work closely with clients to identify and create new business opportunities
