This is a full-time, hourly - rotating shift position.

Summary:
Under limited supervision, moves railcars and trucks into proper filling position and adjusts valves, pumps, and filler pipes to transfer wet and /or dry product from storage tanks to railcars and trucks.

Summary of Job Requirements

• Inspects trucks and tanks to insure they are sufficiently sanitized to insure safe transport of finished products. Fills out inspection reports after checking tanks.
• Cleans and sanitizes trucks and tanks, as required, using standard cleaning materials and procedures. May enter tanks as necessary to complete cleaning.
• Operates valves, pumps, and filler pipes, transferring wet and dry products from holding facilities to transportation equipment.
• Samples product from trucks and railcars and seal such following completion of loading to insure correct content, volume and weights.
• Operates a rail locomotive, positioning cars in appropriate sequences to receive product.
• Performs duties in a safe manner, utilizing all approved safety equipment, and successfully completes all safety certification requirements.

Education

• Education preferred is a high school diploma/GED
