Job description
Twin City Staffing is seeking a line technician for the first and second shifts in Hopkins. As a line technician, you’ll be responsible for assuring production objectives are achieved while emphasizing safety, product quality, and production efficiency.
Location: Hopkins, MN
Wage: $20 – 21/hr.
Hours:
- Alternate between 40-hour and 50-hour work week
- First shift:40 hour week: 5 am – 3:30 pm, Tuesday – Friday
50 hour week: 5 am – 3:30 pm, Monday – Friday
- Second shift:40 hour week: 3:15 pm – 1:45 am, Tuesday – Friday
50 hour week: 3:15 pm – 1:45 am, Monday – Friday

Duties of the line technician:
- Set up, monitor, and adjust machines
- Record material records on work orders
- Track and secure all raw material tags during production run
- Verify part sizes, monitor and manage inspections and record
- Tag of all product off the line
- Complete required paperwork
- Accurate labor reporting (scan into & out of jobs, including set up)
- Familiarity with and strict adherence to all safety hazards prevention methods w/ assigned equipment lines
Requirements of the line technician:
- Mechanical aptitude
- Knowledge of all ISO procedures and work instructions for operations
- Use and read calipers, micrometer, and tape measure
- Basic computer knowledge
- Lift up to 40 lbs. minimum
- Pass background and drug test
