Duties:

• Prepare food efficiently as orders are received.

• Communicate effectively with the Sous Chef.

• Follow predetermined instruction regarding recipes and quantities.

• Have a basic knowledge of food cost control.

• Comply with all food handling and sanitation procedures.

Qualifications:

• Previous restaurant/banquet cooking experience, education and/or culinary training is required

• Food knowledge regarding pantry, soups, sauté and broiler preferred

• Must have manual dexterity for knife handling, sautéing, and equipment usage

• Excellent food safety and sanitation practices

• Ability to operate a variety of commercial cooking equipment
