Job description
We are seeking a line cook that has experience cooking & handling food in a high volume, casual dining restaurant. Responsible for the preparation, presentation, and execution of all menu items. Must be able to follow health guidelines to ensure safe and sanitary food practices.
Requirements:
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of cooking experience. Breakfast experience a plus!
- Able to work on your feet for the majority of your shift.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where you can be seen by the public.
- Capable of lifting up to 40-50 lbs at a time on a regular basis.
- Cook food to correct temps, including meats & eggs.
- Good communication skills and team building.
- The candidate once trained with be responsible for some opening shifts.
- Reference and background checks are required.
