The Life Enrichment Director is responsible for planning, directing, and carrying out a schedule of meaningful programs which reflect resident preferences for social, intellectual, physical, and spiritual desires.
Job Description:

• Assists with planning a comprehensive programs that includes individual and group activities that meets the needs and interests of the residents.
• Performs duties in a professional manner in compliance with the facility and department policies and procedures.
• Maintains a safe and healthy environment for all residents, following all Illinois Health Department regulations.
• Maintains quality daily attendance/ behavioral records.
• Posts monthly program calendars and maintains good communication with all departments.
• Assists with setting up and decorating for activities and special events.
• Attends and participates in facility staff meetings and in-service training's.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• This position requires a minimum of a high school education
• This position requires some evening and weekend hours; must be willing to be flexible on scheduled work hours.
• Candidate must be able to communicate written and verbal ideas in English.
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
