What will I be doing?

• Develops and coordinates advertising and manages the recruitment process
• Maintains appropriate foster parent records in compliance with funding source and DCF
• Records and maintains the statistics necessary to measure the effectiveness of various recruitment efforts
• Conducts informational meetings and trainings
• Reviews applications and references
• Represents the company at job fairs, promotional presentations, and other events to recruit foster parents
• Conducts foster parent orientation, home study evaluations and pre-service orientation and training
• Assist as needed the program in "client match" meetings
• Compiles and submits application packet when all components are received and advises management on whether or not to proceed to the next step of the certification process
• Develops and maintains professional alliances and relationships that will serve to help recruiting efforts
• Conducts home visits within the community
• Maintains foster parents licensing files annually

• Comfortable travelling throughout coverage area of West Palm Beach and Broward County.
• Candidate will exude a passion for serving vulnerable individuals and families.
• Ability to manage time well and work independently. Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
• Ability to recruit and train foster parents.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in human services or related fields and three years related experience.
• Foster Parent Recruitment and Licensing - 1 year (preferred)
• Child Welfare Certification (preferred)
• Marketing experience, preferred
• Access to reliable transportation adhering to all FL Department of Highway Safety & Motor Vehicles laws (current vehicle registration, vehicle insurance, and driver's license)
