The Lakes Assisted Living & Memory Care is hiring On-Call Nurses to join their team

• Part-Time NOC / Fri & Sat
• On-Call / All Shifts

Position Overview
As an LVN at The Lakes at Banning, you will be responsible for providing compassionate care and health services to our independent and assisted living residents. You will also be responsible for addressing the residents’ medical conditions, clinical needs, and other healthcare-related incidents that may occur in the community.

Summary of Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer medications per policy.
• Order and check-in medication when it is delivered by the pharmacy.
• As appropriate, prepare residents’ medications to accompany them on short-term absences from the community as allowed by the state.
• Document progress notes and any change in status of residents.
• Complete resident treatments as ordered and scheduled.
• Assist with personal care and physical support. This may include assistance after a fall, assistance in transferring, assistance with bathing, dressing, oral hygiene, toileting, ambulation, grooming, etc.
• Additional responsibilities as requested by the Director of Nursing

Requirements

• Active LVN license in the state of California.
• Graduate of a state-approved Licensed Vocational Nursing program.
• Current CPR & First Aid Certification.
• Dementia & Mental Health training is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to work in Banning, CA.
