Job description

Small insurance brokerage in Odenton seeking experienced and energetic self-starter to fill important account representative position. Looking for a Maryland Licensed candidate proficient in customer relations and Personal Lines insurance servicing. Applicant should have excellent communication skills and attention to detail, while demonstrating a friendly and thorough approach to customer issues.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Answering multi-line telephone
• Accessing files in our customer management system (Newton)
• Quoting and writing policies
• Advising customers on their insurance needs
• Routing calls to appropriate team members
• Processing payments
• Handling customer correspondence via mail and email
• Developing knowledge of and utilizing necessary forms and documents
• Updating insurance policy data
• Contacting clients and insurance carriers to service policies
• Providing support to managers and executive team members as needed

Required Qualifications:

• Punctuality (must be able to be on time)
• Office environment experience
• Maryland Property and Casualty License
• Experience in Auto and Home Insurance policy servicing
• Windows & Microsoft Suite proficiency
• Excellent organizational and communicative skills
• Ability to work in a team environment

Knowledge of P&C Insurance Carriers is a plus

This position is full -time.
