Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist For Given Guidance Family Counseling

Given Guidance Family Counseling, (GGFC), is a thriving private practice in the suburbs of Los Angeles County looking for passionate clinicians that are licensed to join our team! We are a small practice but are growing rapidly and are able to offer flexible working hours in person and opportunities for tele-health. We are dedicated to providing our clients with quality care while ensuring comfort, safety and trust as they share their authentic selves and process through their most vulnerable thoughts, feelings and experiences. Our therapeutic services are intended to enhance and promote better mental health, self-care, interpersonal relationships, and overall happiness. The services provided are primarily to children (ages 6-12), teenagers, young adults and couples that are experiencing anxiety, depression, new phases of life, relational issues, and family challenges through individual and group counseling.

Position Overview: Weekend Availability

The applicant must have weekend availability. The hired clinician will be required to maintain a minimum caseload of 10 clients per week, offering at least 6 clinical hours on Saturday or Sunday. There are opportunities for growth and increasing caseload to full-time (25-30 clients). The services provided will be outpatient and are offered primarily and preferred, IN-PERSON to individuals, children (6-18), couples, and families from a private practice setting. Desire for working with children and their parents is a requirement. Not all clients will be children, but there will be some children on every clinician's caseload. GGFC maintains marketing and the influx of clients. Clinicians are not responsible for building their caseload. We are currently seeking Licensed Clinicians (LMFT, LPCC, LCSW) that are passionate about their work as a mental health provider serving their community and supporting families.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Must be licensed in the state of California (LMFT, LPCC, LCSW).

· Have weekend availability, minimum 6 clinical hours on a Saturday or Sunday.

· Perform quality therapeutic services to clients of Given Guidance Family Counseling, as scheduled, and in accordance with company policies. Ability to meet with clients in person at the office in La Crescenta, CA.

· Communicate with a client’s treatment team (i.e., PCP, psychiatrist, school, etc.) as necessary.

· Timely complete written records for each client including, but not limited to: intake notes, progress notes, treatment plans, termination notes, contract notes, and other forms or documents which may be needed or required from time-to-time by Given Guidance Family Counseling or third parties in conjunction with the treatment of the patient within a timely fashion (within 48 hours of the time of service provided). Keep client files accurate and up to date.

· Charge and collect payments from clients for services provided consistent with the policy and rate for such services within 24 hours of service date.

· Attend mandatory staff meetings and training as directed by Given Guidance Family Counseling.

· Conduct and regulate therapeutic services in a professional manner so as to maintain and increase the good will and reputation of Given Guidance Family Counseling.

· Respect and passion for working with others (being collaborative) and helping our team members grow and learn.

· Other duties as may be assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

· Master’s Degree in Marriage & Family Therapy:

o Active License in the state of California

o A copy must be provided

· Available to hold at least 10 client sessions per week, provided such sessions are available and referred/scheduled by GGFC.

· Maintain good standing with the appropriate California licensing board.

· Be organized and detail oriented.

· Be able to work independently on tasks assigned.

· Have strong written and verbal communication skills.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $65 - 70 per hour
