Leopard Care Program Leader (Before & After School Care)
Job description
The part-time Leopard Care Program Leader is responsible for supporting the Director in implementing a quality before and after school care program that adheres to the Lincoln Academy Handbook and Jeffco handbook, while providing a safe and developmentally appropriate program by following all relevant state and local legislation, policies and procedures. The Leopard Care Program Leader will be respectful of students, parents, co-workers, and ensure that equipment and facilities are clean, safe, and well maintained.
Applicants should be dedicated to the education and the care of students, communicating with parents, and collaborating with program leaders.
This is an adaptable role where you will get to come alongside children in a fun, educational environment. Any previous experience with working with groups of children is preferred, but not required.

Duties
- Planning/Implementing various activities for groups of school-aged children ages ranging from 5-12
- Support children's social/emotional and behavioral needs according to child development
- Provides minimal homework support for students as needed
- Establish and maintain relationships with the children and their families
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must LOVE kids!
- Training in child development education, teaching in or equivalent early childhood programs/elementary education programs, and evidence of successful experiences preferred.
- Must meet the requirements established by CDHS as a Program Leader
