Job Summary:
Teach the following courses: in the fall semester AIS 308 Beginner Hoocak - Ho Chunk language and in the spring semester AIS 304 Beginner Level Indigenous Language ll Hoocak - Ho Chunk ll language
Lectures meet two or three times a week, with expected enrollment 20 students.
Duties include preparing course materials; developing, administering, and grading exams and papers; and holding office hours.
Responsibilities:
- 80% Facilitates classroom, online and/or laboratory instruction for one or more courses, including assessment of student performance
- 15% Develops instructional design and curriculum relevant to a course of instruction
- 5% Serves as an initial point of contact for students as it relates to specific course or series content and expectations

Qualifications:
Previous experience teaching Hoocak - Ho Chunk language at the college/university level required. Background in American Indian Studies helpful.
