INTRODUCTION & PRIMARY FOCUS: Growth opportunity for a Lead Security Guard to help our team by working at various posts, learning our accounts and being able to fill-in when needed. Some accounts are busy, others are quiet. Some require a black suit and require standing. Weekend work is required. When working quiet posts, the Lead Security Guard will assist with recruiting mostly through online advertisement and occasionally in the field. Finding, interviewing, and hiring predominantly entry-level security guards requires a high volume of expected daily documented calls. Working with our CEO, the Lead Security Guard will, after probation, take on special assignments, learning much about our business and so this is a great training ground for someone motivated to move-up into Senior Security management.

SCHEDULE This job is full time, Day and/or Swing Shift. Be prepared and able to work weekends. A willingness to be a rover and fill-in when needed is critical

LOCATION Most likely Culver City or El Segundo. However, for this role, the Lead Security Guard must be willing to work at different account sites -- most of which are in West Los Angeles. Some locations are as far North as Malibu and as far South as Carson. Will be working alone either in a guard shack facility or an office building environment. Some retail locations require working in a retail environment.

START DATE: Must be able to start right away. Initially, we may have a remote trial run to make sure both parties believe this is a good fit

As stated above, position requires the person to work day hours, including weekends, either in El Segundo or Culver City. Some multi-tasking is to be expected, performing minimal access control while fielding calls and setting up interviews.

PROBATION AND PAY: After a 90 day probationary period of demonstrated success, a salary or raise may be offered. Until then, during training and probation, we will mutually agree-upon a fair hourly wage. Both parties must make sure this is a good fit

EXPERIENCE: we prefer someone college-educated with prior security experience or related field. Most importantly, we want a smart, reliable, hard-working individual who seeks a challenging career in service-based Security Management.

Pay: $52,000.00 - $65,000.00 per month
