Ville Painters is hiring full time Team Lead Painters! Consistently ranked as one of the Lancaster area’s top Painting contractors, we offer residential painting and commercial painting services. We are looking for professional painters who are dependable, passionate, hard-working, and eager to develop their painting skills. Our experienced painters are our most valuable asset, and we would love to find the next Team Leader! Team Leaders will work independently or lead a team in the completion of interior painting and exterior painting projects according to the customer’s vision. Skills and What to Expect

• Deal with customers’ questions and concerns on the job-site daily
• Supervise proper use of equipment , safety and performance of team members
• Keep and report accurate account of hour used and hours remaining for projects.
• Make on-site preparations such as building scaffolding, covering fixtures etc.
• Proper execution of interior and exterior painting protocol, all without supervision
• Ladder Safety- competent working on ladders daily without supervision, up to 40ft extension
• Interior skills (such as but not limited to; blow out patches, plaster, spackle, caulk, nail hole repairs, wallpaper removal, kitchen cabinets (prep & paint), drywall repair, accent walls, etc.)
• Exterior skills (such as but not limited to; (staining, stucco, spraying siding, shutters, etc.)
• Lead paint safety- setup, containment, and cleanup at jobsite
• Lift experience/certification a plus

Qualifications and requirements:

• Minimum 3 years painting experience
• High school diploma, GED, advanced coursework, or tech school a plus but not required
• Must have ability to lead a team and supervise projects
• Coaching, training or mentoring of apprentices a plus
• Ability to work well independently and within a team
• Ownership mentality
• Quality conscious, detail-oriented, highly organized, and self-motivated
• Must possess required tools that include but are not limited to: paint brush, caulk gun, putty knives, toolbox, tape measure, screwdrivers, 5in1, etc.
• Physical ability to perform all aspects of this job (repetitive movements, standing, lifting, climbing, working at heights of greater than 30 feet, etc.)
• Driver's license and must have own transportation to and from work sites

Pennsylvania painting sites may include: Columbia, East Petersburg, Elizabethtown, Lancaster, Landisville, Leola, Manheim, Millersville, Mount Joy, Mountville, Strasburg, Willow Street, Gap, Quarryville, Mt Gretna, and Akron.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $26.00 per hour
