We’re seeking a future team member in the role of Lead Analyst to join our Middle Office Asset Servicing Operations team. This role is located in Pittsburgh PA, in a Hybrid working environment. Account Management group (ODSM) has a requirement for an operations analyst to complement an existing team supporting the Global OnCore Account Maintenance. This is primarily a 6 month contract role that may be subject to extension. The incumbent would need to support an existing operational BAU team and thereafter would be assigned to two ongoing project initiatives in a BA role which are designed to bring about greater automation and wider functional scope expanding the groups capabilities to service clients and support the Middle Office operations groups.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Interaction with a designated client and managing the workflow related to the receipt of client, account and relationship reference data for account opening, modifications and closing
  • Perform levels of data validation and quality assurance to ensure the data are fit for use based upon predefined business rules
  • Interaction with the Client and internal operations groups to support their actions to consume the reference data and prepare systems for use
  • Initiate and maintain workflow application to track, monitor and manage process exceptions related to the preceding activities
  • Perform collaborative UAT/JUAT teams to establish and maintain test data, support or perform testing and assist the client in the provisioning of dependent reference data
  • Participate in data reconciliations and issue resolution that may result
  • Support and facilitate the delivery of the ODSM change book of work

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

  • Experience in operations processes preferably in a Middle Office setting with a general understanding of investment back and middle office life cycle (>= 18 months)
  • Has knowledge in financial products including equities, fixed income and listed derivatives (OTC bilateral derivatives and/or bank loans a plus)
  • Business Analysis experience in a project role would be considered an advantage
  • Has a strong comfort level communicating and supporting client requirements and inquiries
  • Has a proven ability to communicate and collaborate across differing functions
  • Can operate independently within initial guidance/supervision/knowledge transfer
  • Bachelors degree in finance or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • 5-7 years of total relevant work experience preferred.
