Established and growing NaturaLawn of America lawn care franchise with career opportunities looking for growth oriented person with great customer service skills.

Job Description: Provide lawn care service and diagnosis of residential and commercial lawns by diagnosing weeds, disease, and nutrient needs. You will be applying fertilizers (nutrients), herbicides, and fungicides. Customer service is a key element in this position. Start time 7:30am – 8 hour work day – Monday through Friday. Start at $15.00 per hour for 90 day probation period. Plus Annual bonus structure and commission payout on new sales.

Qualifications: Entry level position. Specific task training provided. Valid driver's license with clean driving record and a positive attitude required. TDA Applicator's License a plus and will be required within 1 year of employment. Good communication skills required. Ability to identify turf grasses with knowledge of local environmental conditions and past experience very helpful. Two or Four year degree in Horticulture or Turf Grass or related discipline is a plus, but not required.

Description: Candidates need to be detail oriented and able to work five days a week. You must be a person who enjoys dealing with people, working outdoors, and have a good driving record. Good physical shape is needed to perform activities and complete assigned work. Working conditions will vary based upon the time of year and weather conditions. Work is performed outdoors and temperatures will vary from hot in the summer to cold in the winter.

Duties: Maintain daily route to fertilize customer lawns and apply appropriate weed and/or pest control as needed. Thorough, solid knowledge of Integrated Pest Management (IPM).

Understanding of agronomic programs for warm season turf, especially St. Augustine, Bermuda, and Zoysia grasses.
Understanding of soil test results and reading to modify applications as needed for maximum results.
Understanding of types of fertilizer and knowledge of appropriate applications specific to type of turf.
Proper application of all pesticides as defined by the manufacture’s label for use.
Excellent customer service skills, working with customer concerns, issues, and educating of customers to maximize results and maintain high customer retention. Good written and verbal communication skills.
Operation and maintenance of all company equipment in a safe, clean, and appropriate manor to reflect the highest level of professionalism including, but not limited to, van, office work space, and application equipment.
