Duties for Laundry Aides:
- Responsible for collecting, sorting, washing, drying, folding, stacking and distributing linens and personal laundry.
- Assist in keeping the laundry department neat, clean, and orderly.
Qualifications for Laundry Aides:
- Ability to understand and follow procedures, work assignments, instructions, warnings, and labels
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Adequate strength and endurance to meet the strenuous physical demands of such responsibilities as loading and unloading washers and dryers; coordination necessary to fold clothing items and linen
- Color vision to ascertain stains and separate colored garments from white
