Job Description

1. Holds a Bachelor's or higher degree from a recognized college or university in education or a related field.
2. Holds or eligible for an appropriate certification in Massachusetts.
3. Has a minimum of five (5) satisfactory years professional experience in K-12 teaching
4. Has the ability to work cooperatively with individual teachers and groups of teachers as a model teacher, mentor, professional coach and/or program facilitator.
5. Willing and able to participate in professional development toward mastering best professional practices in literacy, technology and/or subject area teaching.
6. Has familiarity with effective instructional strategies and practices and current educational theory and research.
7. Has Kindergarten teaching experience at least 3 years
8. Has an understanding of ACCESS, WIDA, MAP and DIBELS
9. Has an ability to uses data to help staff plan lessons
10.Has experience using Eureka Math, STMath and Mclass
11. Bilingual preferred
