Position Description: Crew Associate

The Green Standard is Miami’s premier landscaping services company, delivering elevated lawn care and lawn maintenance across South Florida with client-focused conveniences including online scheduling + payment and seamless text communication.

The Crew Associate is responsible for upholding the service and performance differentiators that make The Green Standard Miami’s premier landscape services company. This individual will perform lawn care/maintenance, installation and trimming tasks as assigned, working productively and positively with all Crew members to deliver Elevated Lawn Care to businesses and residences across South Florida.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the execution of all work orders and assigned tasks in partnership with other crew members
• Uphold The Green Standard code of conduct by interacting with clients and vendors in a professional and positive way
• Operate all lawn maintenance equipment and vehicles in a safe manner consistent with your training
• Gather and remove of plant materials from client sites
• Conduct work at a high standard consistent with TGS values
• Maintain uniform in good condition and meet uniform requirements on a daily basis

Requirements:

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus, but not required
• Experience with mowing, shrub trimming, mulching, edging and other basic lawn maintenance functions
• Willingness to learn and desire to grow
• Pride in self, appearance and a job well done
• Work subjects the employee to outside environmental conditions, extremes in temperatures, and hazards associated with equipment operation including fumes, oils, gases. Employee must be able to safely lift 70 lbs.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

• Coconut Grove, FL: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Landscape maintenance (Required)
• Tree trimming (Preferred)

Language:

• English, Spanish, Bilingual (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Preferred)
