We are growing! Juniper Landscaping is currently hiring Landscape Superintendent for our Install team. This position will schedule projects, supervise team members, and manage the resources needed for creating landscape installation projects for our clients.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Managing all landscape installation projects, including the coordination of all materials, people, equipment, and subcontractors required to produce quality work
• Providing day-to-day operational scheduling and guidance for branch’s landscape projects
• Understanding client needs, and meeting with clients directly to provide excellent customer service
• Training and developing of team members (including proper operation of equipment, planting techniques, safety guidelines, and quality standards) as well as disciplinary actions
• Ensuring safety protocols are being followed by team members
• Interviewing and hiring team members
• Performing hands-on work with crews to meet work and scheduling demands as needed
• Using hand tools, power tools and/or equipment to perform landscape installation projects
• Ensuring equipment and tools are properly maintained, stored, and used
• Ordering materials as needed, managing costs and coordinating deliveries
• Ensuring paperwork and reports are accurately updated/completed for client billing
• Maintaining and managing all required computer systems, including but not limited to timekeeping, job databases, and service schedules
• Understanding budgets, labor, costs and gross profits on landscape installation projects

• Performing miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Skills and Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in landscape installation, landscape construction or landscape enhancement services
• Knowledge of plant material and horticultural best practices
• Customer service and client-focused
• Collaborative and team-focused leader
• Proficiency with a variety of computer software applications including MS Office
• Valid Driver’s License and ability to clear Motor Vehicle Record check

• Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
• Must be able and willing to work for long periods of time outside (in extreme temperatures and direct sunlight)
• Must be able and willing to bend, stoop, and twist repeatedly throughout the day
• Must be able to use hand tools and power equipment
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
