SE&I ESD Cross Program Integration Engineer 3
INTRODUCTION
The SE&I ESD Cross Program Integration Engineer 3 position will represent Rothe Enterprises, Inc to their Prime Contractor, ARES, on the Kennedy Exploration Ground Systems (EGS) Program (LX) Support Services Contract Three (KLXS III) at the Kennedy Space Center (KSC) in Florida. The KLXS contract provides engineering and technical services, program and business management support services and administrative support services to the EGS Program at KSC.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
Cross Program Integration Engineer will be supporting Exploration Systems Development out of Marshall Space Flight Center but supporting the Exploration Ground Systems (EGS) program at Kennedy Space center.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Supporting EGS Engineer Meetings and Stand Up Meetings, OERBs, Daily Board
  • Provide Pre Briefs for OERB, Daily Board, and operations meetings such as tanking meeting for the ESD SE&I Team.
  • Pulling Non Conformances for the day and communicating out
  • Provide support of the Baseline Integration ITT to develop and implement a process for identifying and communicating changes to the enterprise baseline that have a potential impact on other Programs or integrated system analysis.
  • Providing support to maintain a cross program interaction matrix of changes to the baseline; maintain the Flight Test Variance database; provide Certificate of Flight Readiness (CoFR) for Baseline Integration; support the ESD Mission Operations SE&I Console.
  • Participating in design reviews, contract negotiations, technical and business discussions with Exploration Systems Division (ESD) programs, NASA HQ and contractors.
  • Providing support to identify and communicate baseline configuration changes throughout the lifecycle into design and operations to ensure impacts are understood and accounted for including non-conformance, requirements changes, operations and configuration.
QUALIFICATIONS
SKILLS:
  • In-depth knowledge of NASA Systems Engineering
  • In-depth knowledge of NASA Exploration Ground Systems and NASA Processes and Procedures
  • Knowledge of SLS/Orion/EGS
  • Excellent presentation and communications skills MS Office; PowerPoint, Excel, Word
  • Comprehensive knowledge of theories, concepts and practices and ability to use in complex situation
EDUCATION:
  • BS required but Master of Science (MS) preferred in Engineering or technical equivalent from an accredited institution with 10 years of related Aerospace experience and 3+ years of direct Kennedy Space Center Element Systems Engineering or operations experience
  • 10 - 15 years of related experience is required.
Working Conditions:
  • This position is contingent on successful completion of security badging requirements which include but are not limited to background checks, drug screening
  • Must be willing and able to sign a personal NDA and firewall/protect sensitive Government and other Contractor data
  • Location – Kennedy Space Center, Florida
