We’re searching for hardworking individuals eager to contribute to the efficient operation of our busy kitchen as our next Kitchen Dishwasher Utility. We require a dependable person who can jump in and assist with various kitchen activities. You will be scraping, sorting, and loading dishes into the dishwashing machine in addition to unloading dirty dishes brought in by bussers. Some Key Areas of Responsibility include:

• Scrape plates, sort dishes, and rinse glassware before putting them in the dishwasher to be cleaned
• Unload the dishwashing machine and place utensils and dishes in appropriate storage areas
• Sweep and scrub kitchen floors to maintain a clean and tidy working environment
• Maintain proper amounts of detergents and other cleaning supplies, and notify the supervisor of any mechanical defects with the dishwashing machine
• Participate in regular employee meetings to ensure all procedures and safety rules are followed

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent GED
• Previous experience working in food service is preferred
• Excellent stamina and physical health
• Must be a hard worker with high attention to detail and have a strong work ethic
• Applicants must be able to work weekends & holidays.
