Results-driven, proactive sales-oriented team member “Shades Superstar” for Select Shades sunglass store at the North Georgia Premium Outlets in Dawsonville,GA. Knowing the style, fashion traits, brands, and protective benefits of sunglasses is paramount to success in this role.

Responsibilities include conducting opening and closing procedures and assisting the store’s leadership team with any delegated tasks as assigned.

Our ideal candidate will have experience in retail and/or fashion. He/she will be able to make decisions on behalf of the company that create a win/win for company and customer. He/she will have strong interpersonal skills and be able to offer proactive feedback to fellow team members and leadership.

Role and Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service

• Assess customer needs and provide assistance and information on product features

• Welcome customers to the store and answer their queries

• Follow and achieve department’s sales goals on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis

• Actively seek out customers in store and “Go the extra mile” to drive sales

• Maintain in-stock and presentable condition assigned areas

• Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options to cross sell products

• Process POS (point of sale) purchases

• Handle returns and/or exchanges of merchandise

• Build productive trust relationships with customers

• Comply with inventory control procedures

• Suggest ways to improve sales (e.g. planning marketing activities, changing the store’s design)

• All other tasks deemed necessary by store leadership or the company.

Preferred Skills

Prior experience in a customer-facing role

Proficiency in English

Proficiency in Spanish very highly valued

Good communication, basic math, and organizational skills

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
