KMC is looking for an Junior Developer with some experience in software design and general computer science. The work of the developer requires proficient experience in the areas of PHP, MySQL, JavaScript Frameworks (Flutter, Laravel, and Vue.js framework experience is a bonus).

Essential Responsibilities

  • Database experience using MySQL; Creating databases and writing queries to populate data into web and mobile apps
  • Write Backend (PHP/Laravel) processes and Front End (JavaScript & Flutter) software
  • Understanding of Linux command line
  • Experience using Apple computers and navigation (We use strictly Apple computers)
  • Manage and own your own project with a deadline
  • Assessment of new application ideas
  • Minor website design and web updates

Job Requirements

  • Applicants should have excellent analytical and math skills, with the ability to work in teams.
  • We are looking for individuals who excel in Computer Science, Engineering or Mathematics ideally.
  • A good working knowledge of PHP and/or MySQL will be a requirement for this position.
  • Critical thinking skills are important.
  • This is a full-time position with the expectation to work in office Monday to Friday from 8:30AM to 5:00PM on site.

**Note: This position is not a work at home position and requires coming into the office.

Compensation

  • $19/hour full
  • *Note: medical insurance is currently not provided within the company
  • Quarterly bonuses based on project completion goals ranging from $500+ quarterly which is dependent on completion and level of difficulty goals
  • Paid vacation and sick time
  • Semi-monthly goal completion reward activities and lunch
  • $50 monthly cell phone reimbursement

  • Staff meeting bonuses for punctuality

Application Process

First round candidates will be asked to do a one way interview to introduce themselves, when passed, will be get an introductory interview in person at the office. Then take a programming test, Second round candidates will then be interviewed by the Chief Technology Officer.

After the position is offered then an observed preemployment drug screen and background check will be performed.

Pay: $19.00 per hour
