As we continue to grow, we are seeking to hire a dynamic and motivated Junior Accountant who will be responsible for supporting the Senior Accountant/Controller while being responsible for the organization’s property tax filings. This position processes bi-weekly payroll. We offer

Responsibilities:
Prepare sales and use tax returns for multiple tax jurisdictions.- Responsible for the organization’s property tax filings
- File monthly, quarterly, and yearly payroll tax returns in manual and electronic format
- Prepare miscellaneous tax returns and assist with compliance with all tax licenses.
- Research and interpret tax statutes and regulations.
- Develop and maintain complete, accurate, and organized work papers.
3+ years of experience in accounting operations including property taxes and payroll.- Strong written and verbal communication skills, as evidenced by preparing reports and preparing and presenting information to clients.
- General ledgers experience a must-have skill set.
- Ability to meet assigned deadlines, working in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction from the manager to accomplish objectives.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel)
- Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies to maximize performance, creativity, problem-solving, and results.
