Job Description:
A Java developer is a specialized type of programmer who may collaborate with web developers and software engineers to integrate Java into business applications, software, and websites. They are involved throughout the entire development life cycle of a product.
This position for 7QSR program which support 7-11 Restaurant Point of Sales system.
Key Responsibilities And Duties

• Proven 4+ years of working experience in Java Development and Spring framework.
• Hands on experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms.
• Profound insight of Java and JEE internals (Class loading, Memory Management, Transaction management etc)
• Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate)
• Executes full product lifecycle to create highly scalable and flexible RESTful APIs. Full stack developmental knowledge with React Framework is a plus.
• Applied knowledge of Object Orientated programming concept (OOPS) and Microservices.
• Must have a strong and continuously growing proficiency in RESTful API development focused on Spring frameworks and getting it deployed to Kubernetes cluster. This includes actively participating in designing, developing, reviewing, testing and deploying APIs (including supporting infrastructure) to drive our point of sale system.
• Utilize expertise in Microsoft Azure Cloud based API platform solutions; Microsoft Azure infrastructure and Microsoft Azure CloudFormation templates; API Gateway, Load Balancers, Container Services, Apigee, Confluent kafka, CDNs, API Performance testing, CI/CD pipelines and monitoring tools
• Work with QA to ensure that cohesive, quality, usable solutions are produced
• Collaborates with other Engineers, Creative/UX designers, Scrum Masters, Product Managers, Business Analysts and Architects.
• Stay up to date with emerging technology and learn new technologies/libraries/frameworks.
• Deliver on time with a high bar on quality of research, innovation, and engineering.

“Must Have” Specific Knowledge And Skills

• Knowledge in working as a part of Scrum Team.
• Experience with backend frameworks (Spring Framework, Hibernate, Quartz Scheduler etc.)
• Experience with database design (SQL and NoSQL).
• Strong communication skills to work with peer developers.

Additional Skills And Other Requirements

• Nice to have experience running Mobile App based and Web based applications.
