General Statement of Duties

Performs routine manual work in the collection of garbage, trash, and yard waste, cleaning warehouse floor, employee lunch room, Locker, and bathrooms.

Duties and Responsibilities

Works under the umbrella of the quality and food safety department and keeps the warehouse and production facility clean.

Daily collect all the waste in the warehouse, outside yard, employee lunch rooms, bathrooms, lockers, and front and back office.

Regularly clean the warehouse floor with scrubbing machine, be prompt to help with immediate needs, and have the initiative on duties.

Weekly, sweep and mop the white perimeter line of the warehouse.

Order and maintain all the janitorial supplies.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Some industrial-level experience in cleaning and sanitation is a plus.

Ability to drive floor scrubbing machine.

Ability to work cooperatively as a team member and respond promptly.

Ability to complete simple records.

Special Requirements

Willingness to work on different schedules and work overtime if needed.

Must be Bilingual (English and Spanish)

Minimum Education and Experience

High School Diploma or GED

Fingering. Picking, pinching, typing, or otherwise working, primarily with fingers rather than with the whole hand as in handling.

Grasping. Applying pressure to an object with the fingers and palm.

This job requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
