Summary

Working under and at the direction of the Sr IT Manager, the IT System Administrator will assist the Sr IT Manager in maintaining the company's server and network infrastructure, implementing the company's IT security policies, and conducting performance analyses. This position will serve as backup to the Sr IT Manager.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Virtual server infrastructure (hardware): Life cycle, updates, performance analysis, capacity planning, security, andfuture proofing.

• Virtual server systems (Windows Operating Systems): Performance, disaster recovery, security, capacity planning,deployment, updates, server application maintenance and end-of-life tracking, operating system maintenance, changes,permissions, and future proofing.

• Network: Maintenance, changes, updates, road map for improvements, security, performance, end-of-life tracking.

• Firewall: Maintenance, updates, URL filtering, threat prevention, VPN, internal network protection, remote accessmanagement, log review, and alerts.

• Infrastructure monitoring: Alerting system for network and servers.

• Workstations: imaging, antivirus, and security updates servers, and level 2 support

• MS365: Backoffice maintenance, backups, organization wide configuration and security.

• Fab infrastructure: Maintenance, security, data replication

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in a related field

• 5 or more years of experience of IT or related experience

• Two years in an enterprise operations environment with production responsibility

• Three years of experience in system administration and/or engineering

• Professional IT Certifications, such as: Microsoft Modem Certifications Tracks, Virtualization Technology, Networking,and VoIP Skills

• Nutanix Virtual Infrastructure skills a plus

• Veeam Backup and Replication skills a plus

• Palo Alto Networks skills a plus

• Aruba/HPE switching and routing skills a plus

• Meraki wireless skills a plus

• Ability to implement and troubleshoot networking solutions such as VLANs, Wireless Networks, TCP/IP, and othercommon network concepts

• Strong analytical skills

• Familiarity with virtual server infrastructure technologies (Nutanix knowledge a plus)

• Ability to implement and monitor backup and disaster recovery solutions powered by Veeam

• Working knowledge of hybrid solutions with integrated AD/AzureAD • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly

• Technical awareness: ability to match resources to technical issues appropriately

• Service awareness of all organization's key IT services for which support is being provided

• Understanding of support tools, techniques, and how technology is used to provide IT services

• Experience working in a manufacturing environment a plus

• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

• Ability to meet deadlines Physical Demands

• Must be able to respond to visual and audible alarms

• Regular and consistent attendance at the office
