Overview:Parker & Sons is currently seeking Temporary Part time IT Support Specialists to join our team comprised of creative and energetic employees, who are dedicated to delivering the best customer service experience every day. Our IT Specialists support and troubleshoot day-to-day technology issues of our users, including but not limited to desktop applications, custom applications, computer hardware, networks, and phone system issues. You will also be on a team that is responsible for the on-boarding of new employees within these IT Systems.

Responsibilities:What Will I Do?

  • Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices
  • Respond to hardware and software support issues from employees for Microsoft
  • Maintain software (patches, updates, and fixes) used on desktop and server environments including OS, anti-virus and malware protection
  • Install and configure appropriate software and hardware according to specifications
  • Provision new users / employees in all IT systems (network, phones, radios)
  • Maintain local networks, backups, and monitor logs for any potential issues
  • Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems
  • Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment
  • Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completing their work
  • Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts, debugging etc.) including sending units out for RMA and repair depot when required
  • Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes and maintenance schedule

Qualifications:Do I have What it Takes?

  • Bachelor Degree in a Technology related field preferred
  • 1+ years IT experience
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication ability, both written and verbal
  • Outstanding organizational and time-management skills
  • Knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
  • Microsoft Office365 experience
  • Working knowledge of Active Directory
  • Understanding and experience in installation, configuration and troubleshooting with various desktop operating systems including Windows 10, & MAC OSs in an enterprise environment.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and configuration of mobile devices such as tablets and smart phones for enterprise applications such as corporate email.
  • Working knowledge of Mobile Device Management concepts

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
