IT Support I
Weaver Consultants Group seeks to hire an IT Support I based out of our Naperville, IL office with up to 25% travel to our Chicago location. As a member of our IT Team, you will be assisting in the steady improvement of the company’s core infrastructure, systems, and people to maximize efficiency in the workplace. The organization works off a decentralized model supporting employees all around the country under multiple subsidiaries, meaning that the environment and landscape is ever-changing resulting in an environment with massive opportunity for personal development.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical assistance for; computer hardware, software, printers/copiers.
- Respond to inquiries via support ticket, email, phone, or walk-up in a timely manner. Documenting all incidents and procedures via our Help Desk Ticketing system.
- Configure and install desktop/laptop computers, printers, phones, and necessary peripherals.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve reported incidents (software, hardware, etc) in a logical and systematic manner.
- Identify and escalate issues to appropriate groups as needed.
- Assist in maintaining comprehensive organization of company-wide IT hardware and software assets.
- Create and maintain documentation and training for end-users, assisting with creation of Knowledge Base Articles (KBA’s) for IT coworkers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in technical field, or IT Certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, CCNA, etc)
- 2+ years relevant experience working in an IT Role.
- Strict attention to detail.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft cloud and on-premise based applications (Office 365 Administration, Azure, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Active Directory)
- Basic Networking knowledge (ex: DHCP, TCP/IP, VPN, IPSEC, DNS)
- Flexibility to juggle tasks/projects, but also able to able to shift priority as the need arises.
- Ability to operate independently, with little oversight.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Must be able to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical colleagues.
- Ability to travel as needed, 1-2 times per quarter.
