Are you ready to make your mark? If you’re an IT Server Manager, we have an exciting opportunity for you. This role is to ensure the streamlined operations of IT in alignment with the business objectives of a business group or region. This individual will plan, coordinate, direct and design IT-related activities of the organization, as well as provide administrative direction and support for daily operational activities of IT. The IT manager will work closely with decision makers to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the organization. this person will also define and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices.

What you will be doing…

  • The position is leadership-focused and hands-on involvement is not expected, we are looking for some past technical competencies in an on-premise server/storage environment, cloud adoption, cybersecurity and team building.
  • Lead and Manages the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of all IT server/storage systems, operating systems, patching, backups, hardware, software and licensing.
  • Acts as part of the management team to achieve the goals of the IT teams and Woodward operations, while fostering a collaborative spirit.
  • Leads IT server/storage operational and 3-year strategic planning, including fostering innovation, planning projects, and organizing and negotiating the allocation of resources.
  • Ensures compliance with all Global IT policies and procedures, including those for architecture, security, disaster recovery, standards, purchasing and service provision.
  • Monitors performance of information technology systems to determine cost and productivity levels, and to make recommendations for improving the IT infrastructure


What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field
  • 5 years IT related work experience
  • Some leadership experience in an IT environment
  • Extensive experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Extensive business system support experience
  • Domestic and international travel required
