Job description

The PC Refresh Technician is responsible for upgrading and replacing hardware and software components of desktop and laptop computers. They will work closely with the IT team to ensure that all hardware and software are updated. The PC Refresh Technician must be able to work independently and effectively manage time to meet deadlines.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in desktop support, IT or a related field
• Experience in hardware and software upgrades
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, Windows operating systems and computer hardware components
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Preferred:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
• Experience with remote desktop support
• A+ certification or other relevant certifications in computer hardware or software support
