What we are looking for:
indiGO Auto Group is seeking a full-time IT Manager to join our indiGO Auto Group team. The IT Manager for indiGO reports directly to the CFO and will be based out of Houston. This position will be responsible for managing and further maturing our current IT program; identify innovation opportunities through IT to further expand our corporate digitization efforts, own IT projects and be the key responsible person for IT operations and the IT control framework. Here is what an ordinary day of work may look like:
- Work with the executive team in Houston as well as local dealership general managers and colleagues in the stores. This position will also cooperate with colleagues within the Pon organization and with 3rd parties.
- Drive digital innovation and customer journey improvements.
- Responsible for the IT Budget of the company.
- Build, and be responsible for, the technology roadmap including technology lifecycle management.
- Responsible for IT security and privacy and coordinating with Pon Security colleagues.
- Ensure compliance with the IT policies and controls framework.
- Manage our 3rd party IT company in day-to-day operation (maintenance etc.).
- Manage our main contracts with IT vendors, of which CDK (DMS) is our core contract.
- Help educate indiGO employees in IT and day-to-day applications they use.
- Maintain documentation of IT processes and procedures. Seek options to refine and improve existing processes.
- Be part of the acquisition team at the time of an acquisition of a new store to investigate the status of IT and develop a proposal on how to align/improve.
- Make sure (new) IT and technology is an integral part of the company’s strategy and also make sure that strategy is made concrete and translated into changes and real improvements that are implemented.
- E-commerce (content, performance, security)
- Car digitalization/electrification
- Etc.
- Be creative and add a different perspective (digital/IT) to the company’s decision making and coordinate the relevant digital innovations with the different geography within Pon Luxury & Performance Cars.
- Coordinate with the digital counterparts of the key OEMs about the digital innovations they are bringing to their dealers and customers.
The opportunity is for you if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 7+ years experience in IT operations or 2+ years experience in IT management
- Experience implementing and testing IT solutions
- Experience working with AD, o365, and Exchange
- Proven ability to develop and implement a Digital strategy that drives business value creation
- Willing to submit to a drug test and criminal background check
- Ability to communicate both verbally and with written documentation
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Maintain professional appearance and demeanor at all times
