TEKsystems is Hiring in Oklahoma City!

Our client based out of Western OKC (El Reno/Calumet) is looking to bring on an IT Field Technician to their team on a 6 month contract to hire. The client is based in the Natural Gas industry and has service locations throughout the Central and Southwest Oklahoma area - this position requires travel within a 2 hour radius of OKC.

Candidates must have 3+ years of relevant experience in either server setup, running cable, IT hardware support, or hands-on network support.

Pay is competitive.

The main duties in this role are as follows:

• Travelling between Natural Gas midstream and field offices, warehouses, and platforms to provide hands-on IT support and Telecom support
• Main skills needed in this role are:
  • Server and network install and setup including routers, switches, and access points, cabinets and racks
  • Excellent attention to detail, communication, and documentation
  • CAT5/6 cabling including running cable and making terminations/labelling
  • Windows desktop and mobile device support and setup, printer support

This position is travel based so candidates can either drive their own vehicle and get reimbursed for fuel costs or the client will utilize a rental vehicle when available - hotel stays and associated expenses will be reimbursed by the client.

This position involves working both indoors and outdoors in the elements with a strong attention to safety protocols.
