HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE:

The IT Business Systems Analyst plays a critical role in driving the success of our business by providing comprehensive support, designing and delivering effective business solutions that are aligned with the overall strategies, objectives, and priorities of our organization.

With a deep understanding of our ERP, other business systems, and their flow of data, the analyst works with other business stakeholders to identify areas for process improvement and data optimization. They provide design recommendations and support of data platforms for reporting, analytics, data analysis, and forecasting. Working with other team members and business stakeholders, the analyst ensures that our business systems are optimized for maximum efficiency and effectiveness.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Understand the ERP solution and other business systems to support and look for areas of improvement of processes and data.
• Ensure data platforms support the needs of the business through self-service reporting and business intelligence tools.
• Provide guidance and support of data integrations with 3rd parties to support digital transformation, RPA, and supplier partnerships.
• Using Agile project management principals and the Azure DevOps platform, develop plans and deliverables for computer-based solutions using modern Microsoft platforms including Azure, and the Power Platform.
• Adhere to guidelines for coding methodologies for extensibility and supportability not limited to design principals, coding guidelines and foundations/frameworks.
• Perform other application related activities as required.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

• Experience with ERP fundamentals, database design principals, structured programming development patterns, data analytics and Power BI.
• Experience with MS SQL Server and data warehousing concepts.
• Passionate about technology and the advantages it can bring to a manufacturing organization.
• Awareness of the latest digital trends and ability to recommend changes.
• Innovative, with a track record of challenging the status quo.
• Resourceful and proactive, with strong, creative problem-solving skills.
• Proven experience using data to drive decision making.
• Excellent organizational skills. Ability to develop project plans, manage projects, work to deadlines and evolving priorities.
• Outstanding communication skills.
• Ability to build strong working relationships across wide and varied business areas and stakeholders.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

• 2+ years' experience in a similar technology role.
